“The Worst Trip Around the World” premieres today on Disney+
The most chaotic journey begins, and starting this Friday, November 7th, the new docu- reality The Worst Trip Around the World with Juanpa Zurita premieres exclusively .
Having no idea what it takes to circumnavigate the globe, Juanpa Zurita convinces Disney+ that he can do it with a small, single-engine plane (without a bathroom) and the legendary pilot who broke the record for being the youngest person to do it: Matt Guthmiller.
Travelling across a planet, four continents, eight countries, and accompanied by eight guests who happened to be famous so as not to offend Disney, it was inevitable that this would end in complete disaster .
In the new production, Juanpa embarks on a daring journey full of bad decisions through eight destinations on four continents. Over eight episodes, he experiences chaotic adventures in cities as different as Las Vegas, Reykjavik, Havana, Transylvania , and Hanoi , alongside other content creators who have millions of followers on YouTube and TikTok. Among many other epic experiences, he dives underground in the Venado Caves in Costa Rica with Lele Pons; handles crocodiles at a Cuban farm with Facundo; goes bungee jumping in the Romanian Carpathians with Jair Sánchez ; travels through the Moroccan desert on camels with @danielarodrice; participates in a Viking battle in Reykjavik with @esen_alva; discovers the paradisiacal Vietnamese bay of Ha Long with @azuaraharold; dares to practice sumo wrestling in Tokyo with @danielsosafado; and in Las Vegas jumps from the tallest observation tower in the United States with @chinguamiga.
In The Worst Trip Around the World , Juanpa's great accomplice is Matt Guthmiller, the expert pilot in command of the single-engine plane, who achieved the Guinness World Record at just 19 years old for being the youngest person to circumnavigate the globe solo . With Matt's help, Juanpa faces countless unforeseen situations that make the journey an uncomfortable and very funny experience.
